Trouble is (as I read it), black beans in and of themselves are not a complete protein. Vegans among us are attentive to that issue. In order to “complete” the protein, we need to pair the beans with quinoa or other whole grains, nuts, or seeds (it’s a simple google search to find the suggested alternatives).
