I made this last night as a side dish and it turned out delicious. I used unsalted sunflower kernels and omitted the onions just a personal preference. I also added croutons just because I am bad but the salad didn’t need them. Loved the vinegerette also!

Iā€™m just wanted to say thank you for putting this very simple salad out for us all to enjoy. So simple yet I stumble every time it comes to making a salad to guests. These are perfect suggestions. The only comment I have is that my dressing was very salty. I would make a different one or reduce the salt to a pinch. I always read the secret to a great salad is homemade dressing and toasted nuts.
