I saw this recipe and immediately went out and bought the pans. Having spent significant time in New England, I have missed these. They turned out just delightfully and I didn’t miss the frying at all. My husband came home and said, “you made donuts?” And proceeded to devour one.
My only suggestion is to brush with butter and dredge in the cinnamon sugar individually since the butter soaks in and doesn’t hold the cinnamon sugar after a bit.
